Sustainable Farming for Grenada’s Future

Founding Story and Mission

Duhaney’s Farmsted was founded out of a passion for agriculture and a commitment to Grenada’s food security. Behind this initiative are Terry and Shoyan Duhaney, and Samuel and Aretha Gamble, this team of forward-thinking entrepreneurs is dedicated to sustainable agriculture and deeply committed to advancing local food production and community development.

From the very beginning, the farm was inspired by the need to reduce Grenada’s reliance on imported pork, strengthen local supply chains, and provide high-quality, naturally raised protein to households across the island.

In the early days, the founders faced the challenge of establishing sustainable farming practices while maintaining high animal welfare standards. Drawing on their combined expertise, perseverance, and innovative approaches, they created a farm that prioritizes eco-friendly methods, healthy livestock, and community impact, laying the foundation for a business built on integrity, quality, and local pride.
